Common Questions
What clients usually ask
Should I refinish or replace my hardwood?
If the wood is structurally sound with enough material for sanding, refinishing saves significant money and preserves original wood character. We assess honestly at the walkthrough β no push toward unnecessary replacement.
How much does hardwood installation cost in Ontario?
Hardwood installation: $11β$22/sq ft including material at mediumβhigh Ontario pricing. LVP: $7β$15/sq ft. Hardwood refinishing: $4.50β$9/sq ft. Laminate: $5β$11/sq ft.
What's the best flooring for a rental unit?
Luxury vinyl plank β waterproof, extremely scratch-resistant, comfortable underfoot, and cost-effective to replace in sections if damaged. It’s our most recommended rental-property flooring.
Can I walk on floors during refinishing?
No. Hardwood refinishing requires the area to be vacated during work and 24β48 hours of curing time before foot traffic, longer before placing furniture.
